Our focus

Three services for common electrical deficiencies.

From a PCA finding to a defined construction scope, we help owners plan and execute corrective work.

01 / Aluminum wiring

Aluminum branch wiring remediation

Aluminum wiring connector work

For properties with solid aluminum branch-circuit wiring, we can develop a unit-by-unit scope and provide installation of specified remediation solutions, including AlumiConn connectors where suitable and accepted.

  • Existing-condition review and unit counts
  • AlumiConn connector installation to manufacturer instructions and applicable code
  • Remediation at affected devices, fixtures, junctions, and equipment connections within the agreed scope
  • Rewiring alternatives when required
  • Work records and completion documentation

02 / Electrical panels

Problematic panel replacement

Electrical distribution panel equipment

Replace identified legacy panel equipment in apartments and common areas. We can survey equipment, establish a replacement schedule, and coordinate outages and inspections.

  • Federal Pacific Stab-Lok and Zinsco/GTE-Sylvania equipment
  • Other identified legacy panels, including certain Challenger and Pushmatic equipment
  • Replacement panelboards, breakers, and related connections
  • Unit-by-unit sequencing and labeling
  • Permit and inspection coordination as applicable

Replacement needs depend on the specific equipment, applicable requirements, and PCA or lender findings.

03 / Service capacity

Apartment electrical service upgrades

Apartment electrical meter banks

Evaluate electrical service deficiencies and plan upgrades appropriate to the building's loads and infrastructure.

  • Existing service and panel capacity review
  • Load calculations and scope development with engineering support where required
  • Meter equipment, feeders, panels, and distribution upgrades
  • Utility and shutdown coordination
  • Permits, inspections, and closeout records as applicable

A PCA amperage finding does not, by itself, determine the final service size; actual loads, code, and utility requirements govern design.

Financing and compliance

Fannie Mae's PCA guidance can identify electrical conditions requiring further review or corrective work. Manpower Electric provides electrical contracting and remediation services; it does not act as the independent PCA consultant, determine lender eligibility, or guarantee financing approval. Repair methods and acceptance should be confirmed with the lender, consultant, and authority having jurisdiction.
